Don't Panic!

In less than 10 hours I will start a marathon of not two, not three but FOUR exams. Four exams in four hours, not much. 50 multiple choices per exam. 200 questions. Of four different subjects. Epidemiology, Public Health, Mental Health and Aging Diseases. Starting at 8 am. Oh boy... I still have a few things to revise. Well, wish me luck.

I'll need it.

Breakfast notes

Today's morning coffee is going to be taken at a cafe near my house. Actually, my whole study is going to be made there. *sigh* This means that I had to take a shower and some things that I haven't done in at least five days:
  • Comb my hair
  • Put my trainers on
  • Put real clothes on (I've been wearing my pajamas for a long time... I was afraid of having some kind of alergic reaction when I started to put on my jeans)
Let's see how it goes today...

Breakfast notes

My cup is empty already. Time to get another one.

Plan for today:

* Study all the lectures of Introduction to Aging Diseases
* Revise all lectures of Introduction to Mental Health

Study Break

No-Coffee Friend: I'm gonna watch How I met your mother.
Me: It didn't come out last night.
NCF: Why is it never out on our exam season?
Me: 'Cause they know we have to study and that we lead into temptation!

(...5 minutes or so...)

*Phone rings*
NCF: Hey! I'm watching the video from last year's party and...

Yup, not airing HIMYM is not going to stop us to lead into temptation...

Just one more day until the exam.
Revision time!

Breakfast notes

Good morning, sunshine!

I can't tell you how much I love the first coffee of the morning...

And now, it is time to study!

(2 more days until the exam...)
(Continuing with radiology...)

At my school, in the first year, you have to choose (/it is given to you the name of a) a 2nd year student to guide you through your course. This means that you an get his/hers advice, notes and sometimes even books. It does work in the first year, but after a while you get tired of asking for stuff   and you tend to get more independent. However, there are some questions you keep asking to the person above you no matter what. One of them is "was this* on the exam?". When you can't seem to talk to the person that helped you in the first year, you ask anyone you know**. But sometimes the answer is just not what you expected...

me: Do you think you can ask your brother if the theory related to how the radiology methods work was on the exam last year?
GS1: Yup, I'll ask him tonight.

(...hours go by...)

GS1: He says it was just theory.
me: just theory? We just had lectures, I just wanted to know if the theory related to how the radiology methods work was on the exam...
GS1: Damn! And now I'm already in bed. I'll ask him tomorrow, is that okay?
me: Yeah, sure.
GS1: oh, yeah, he did say there were some questions about "x-rays and stuff"!

Really?! Really?! A radiology exam with questions about x-rays?! I didn't see that coming...

*- this can be anything, but is usually a specific lecture.
**- and yes, this includes GS1's brother
